Chelsea forward Dastan Satpaev, currently set to officially join Chelsea this summer, will have a chance of staying in the first team.
That is according to the information of his national team head coach Talgat Baysufinov, aggregated by Scout in Eurasia on X.
Speaking to the media, Baysufinov stated that Satpaev will play against Armenia in June, as Chelsea want to get the player ready for their first team training camp.
He said: “Yes, Armenia is on our schedule, and discussions regarding a match with Hungary are ongoing. What is the reason for this? It is because Chelsea is preparing Satpaev for August.
“ In August, there will be a training camp with the Chelsea first team. At the moment, Chelsea’s head coach, Liam Rosenior, is very pleased with Dastan and is excited about his upcoming arrival”
“However, in August, he will need to prove his worth alongside the first-team players. That is when he will be called up to the main squad”
“ In other words, they need to have Dastan 100% ready by that time. Their goal is to use the June FIFA dates to build up to August and the first-team camp—that is their plan for advancing Dastan Satpaev to a higher level”
“When the Chelsea representatives showed us all of this and explained their developmental plan, we immediately looked toward September—the start of the Nations League”
“Our primary goal is the Nations League. God willing, Dastan Satpaev will break into the Chelsea first team. Just imagine the emotional boost that would provide for the player himself, for us in the national team, for the fans, and for the entire country! This peak is exactly what Chelsea is guiding him toward!”
Satpaev is not expected to feature in March fixtures, as he is currently recovering from an injury.

For the last 2.5 months, he has been training under supervision from Chelsea, who have requested that he does not play this month.
