Lack of desire from Chelsea players show no backing towards Liam Rosenior

Chelsea suffered their 4th straight defeat for the first time this season as Everton demolished the Blues 3-0.

Two goals from Beto and Illiman Ndiaye were enough for the toffees to win the match.

Against PSG, instead of inspiring a comeback for the ages, he showed fans that he’s really out of his depth as manager.

But against Everton, it’s clear the players are done fighting for him.

The first goal, yet another mistake from Wesley Fofana.

Not tracking his man correctly, Gary Cahill made some fantastic statements about Fofana before the game and criticised how he defended the goal against Newcastle for Sky Sports.

I found it interesting that the former Chelsea centre back said that if Everton are going to find a goal, it will be through the simple pass in defence. Guess what? Cahill was correct.

The second goal, yet another example of poor man management from Liam Rosenior.

Yes, Robert Sanchez made a mistake, but Rosenior was the one who ruined his momentum.

Rosenior dropped Sanchez, and expected him to come back into the team with some sort of fire in his belly, even though he’s already proved himself this season.

The third goal was outstanding from Ndiaye, but let’s be honest if we were hanging onto a lead or trying to find a winner then I think the defence would’ve stopped that.

But again, it’s down to the manager. We will compare him with Enzo Maresca again, because that’s who he replaced.

Maresca would at least understand our biggest weakness in our defence and try to fix it. We were on the road to doing that under Maresca, but with Rosenior it seems like the club have taken two steps backwards.

International break now, but a FA Cup quarter-final against Port Vale up next. Will Rosenior still be in charge by then?
